Since my girls finished their molt and have resumed laying I am noticing quite a few eggs that are almost entirely all yolk, very little (maybe a teaspoon) of white.
Is this normal? Are they better for hatching because of it?

I haven't tried incubating any of them so I can't help you there. My older girls lay eggs like that though. They're huge and I always think they'll be double yolkers, but they just have one BIG yolk in them. I think it's normal for hens past the first molt. I get 3-4 eggs a week from the older girls instead of 5-6, but they're a lot bigger now.

Thanks. Yes, the eggs are getting huge too. Still getting about the same amount, but I feel sorry for my two smallest hens laying these huge eggs.
