I have a 3 month old baby ameracauna who won't eat or drink and lays on the ground with her head on the ground and her eyes closed. She is continually getting worse within 3 hours, because she used to react slowly to her surroundings, but now she doesn't react at all to anything and keeps her eyes closed. I live in Arizona and it's in the high 90s right now, but the rest of the flock seem to be doing fine. Last week I had a chicken with a similar problem that we just figured was dehydration, so I gave her lots of water and took her inside and she ended up being fine. I tried to do the same with this chicken (Phoenix is her name) but she is so exhausted she wont drink. I cant detect any other problem than extreme lethargy and a bit of heavy breathing. I really don't want to lose her please help!!!!
