Hey guys, I recently made some chocolate chip cookies doing a recipe I made up and they're delicious, and I wanted to see if anyone else likes them too! I made mine with two medium duck eggs and a large chicken egg!

Ingredients:

2 ¾ cups flour
1 ½ tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 ½ cups sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
3 large eggs
2 tbsp honey
2 cups chocolate chips
1 tbsp milk

1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. In a large bowl mix flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Set aside.

3. In another large bowl, cream together sugar and butter.

4. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until you have an even mixture.

6. Add chocolate chips.

7. Pour in honey and milk. Continue to mix.

8. Chill for several hours.

9. Roll dough into balls the size of a golf ball and flatten with your palm.

10. Bake until tops barely begin to turn golden brown (approx 3 minutes).

11. Take out and put a sliver of butter on each cookie.

12. Continue baking until cookies are solid golden.

13. Let cool for 10-20 minutes.

14. Enjoy! :)

It made a lot of dough. I made several batches and still have enough dough for ten cookies in the freezer!

We LOVE chocolate chip cookies! I will add missing ingredients to my next grocery list and give them a try, then let you know. :)

Hi

Where my wife works they have a monthly team meeting and at each meeting they always have a cooking themed challenge. As we're new hen parents this month everyone was given a box of eggs and had to bake something for the meeting with them ...

We made your cookies for todays meeting! :) As tripletfeb mentioned above they did go like pancakes :D but they taste great!!! We cut them out with cookie cutters (it's dog shaped though you can't really tell from this pic).

Did they flatten when they cooked? I make delish cookies but the choco chip cookie has always eluded me! Mine always flatten like a pancake when I bake them. I have tried chilling the dough, freezing it, everything Ive read online!
Mine don't tend to flatten. I wonder why hours do. Do you use baking soda?
