Had a batch of eggs shipped to me and set on the 13-15. Some are dark but very watery with just a little movement. Some have great viens. Others doesn't look like much going on. Is it to early to ditch any eggs? What's up with the watery ones? Is that called a detached air cell? Any help appreciated.

Considerate it a miracle of I didn't make any mistakes and posting the pictures such as duplicates and numbering. I know I'm missing one but I don't know which egg I forgot. Lesson learned next time I will give each egg a number in pencil

I really suck at this and can only confuse things. At 4-5 days it would be extra tricky.

I recently started throwing out anything that is watery figuring it is supposed to be consolidating and growing instead of just sloshing around in there. Hopefully, someone smart will come along and answer that one.

My success rate with shipped eggs is about 5% or less. There will either be a couple that hatch or, more likely, a complete zero. Nonetheless, I'll be just as hopeful the next time 'cause you never know

I will try tomorrow. There are 24 so it will take sometime. Also I noticed that one has a hairline crack but is developing nice veins. Should I repair with wax and would beeswax work?
candle wax is best, unsecented.
1 Looks questionable- can you see any veins, movement?
View attachment 31930792 Also looks questionable. Can you see any veins or movement?View attachment 31930793 looks goodView attachment 31930804 looks questionable can you see veins or movement?View attachment 31930815 looks questionable. Can you see movement? Keep a close eye on this one and see if it continues to develop. View attachment 31930826 Cant see any development. You can keep it in for another day or two and see though.View attachment 31930837 looks questionable, but you may be able to see veins or movement in person. Sometimes it doesnt show up on camera View attachment 31930848 looks questionable, but again it can be hard to see. Can you see veins?View attachment 31930859 This one looks to have started developing- keep an eye on it and see of veins start to form. View attachment 319308610 looks greatView attachment 319308711 Cant see anything yet, you can close clrack up with candle waxView attachment 319308812 development looks lovely, the air cell looks questionable. Keep an eye as it develops.View attachment 319308913 I think I may be able to see the start of development. Keep a close eye and toss if no veins form in the next couple days View attachment 319309014 This one is hard to see. Can you see veins or movement?View attachment 319309115 this one looks to be a quitter. If you cant see veins or movement, toss View attachment 319309216 looks goodView attachment 319309317 looks good, air cell looks questionable. Is it going down the side?View attachment 319309418 looks questionable. Is it also cracked?View attachment 319309519 looks questionable but the shell looks thick and its hard to see. Is this one cracked?View attachment 319309620 looks questionable, can you see veins or movement?View attachment 319309821 good development, bad air cell, but still has a good chance!View attachment 3193099
22 looks questionable. Can you see veins or movement?

23 looks good. Air cell looks bad, but again, good chance! View attachment 3193097

I've tried to go through each one, but these are only my opinions!
If you feel uncertain, it doesnt hurt to leave them in for a couple more days. Questionable does not equal bad! Just means its impossible to tell from the photo. I wouldnt toss any unless youre certain theres no veining or movement. Number 5 is especially tricky. Theres clear development but the veins doing look too good, it may be fine, but jusy keep an eye on it!
You have some lovely veining in some of them, some are uncertain, and one which seems to have quit. I realise you posted this a while ago and you may have already made the call with them- but I'd figure I'd reply anyway!
