As I recall, Danny Padgett being a well respected APA judge. Seems if he is the farm manager, most, if not all, breeders would be show quality. Sounds like Superior hand picked the best of the best they could find. Am waiting for a PM from them as to the quality of their Buff Orps. Have also sent him an invite to join this thread. May try to call him later. A friend is in OKC and stated on Facebook that he woke to snow this morning. Weather has a lot to do with production. My layers have not layed since it fell to the teens here. If they don't lay soon I may remember that none are show quality and make nice dumplings! Will try to post any response I get on here.

Hey Cara, these are the three Buffs Danny brought up. Danny's line does, far as I know, have some of the same bloodlines that are in these three in his Buff program.

Decided to call Superior Farms. Just spoke with Danny. Real nice and friendly. His Buff Orps are booked for a few weeks, but he may have some to send via a friend to the Pine Bluff show in April. He said he got his buff Orps from several sources, including: Terry Britt and Larry Dye. Both men raised good quality birds and won a lot in shows. So have decided to order two dozen eggs for my daughter. She has decided that large buff Orpingtons are for her. Of course it will be me carrying them in at the shows and placing them in the coops. She is very petite and may never be able to lift them. Will train her to, just not likely any time soon taht she could lift a 10# male Buff Orpington. If I do have to lift, she will definetly be assisting. My personal belief: Youth exhibitor show their own birds, not adults.

One of these 4 girls is from larry's line
I'd have to go out and see which one she is. I can't remember in this pic
