Supplements and Nutrients?

Newhatch3r,
I haven't even gotten my eggs yet so I'm much further out than you are. I wish you luck. I'm getting a big batch of eggs, 100. I don't have everything ready yet. I'm still at the planning stages. I picked up a bin for the brooder the other day. Now I just have to decide if the heating pad or heat lamp is a better option. I will likely need a second brooder bin as they get bigger. This hobby takes a lot of knowledge and equipment.

Yes true I don't have alot of money at the time so so thought it would be a good hobby little did I know I'd be sleeping with these eggs. I do have access to alot of things I can re purpose from my experience cooler and 2 light bulbs works great I manage tempature every 2 hours I should have set it up better if I'm allowed 2 I'll post a pic of my incubator I have 2 eggs Crack that I taped i know it's a long shot don't make fun of me. I ordered a thermostat and person never shipped so I had to order another but my setup in a 50 degree room works pretty good some times I have to change small factors but my thermostat should be here any day.

Newhatch3r,
I'm not making fun of you at all. Trust me I'm struggling to come up with everything I will need. Yes it can be costly, but I think they are a worthwhile hobby once you get them off the ground and figure it all out. It's wonderful to be able to repurpose things and we are surely doing that as well. I have no idea if eggs that are cracked will hatch. I think if they aren't all the way through, like internal cracking there may be a chance.

Good Luck,

Newhatch3r,
No problem. I wish you the best. I'm just starting to gather my supplies and such. My eggs are about 3 1/2 weeks out, but I'm on a call list so they may come sooner.

Susie just had to ask at my local co opp the feed was in the back. They had 50 lb of turkey starter for 14 dollars so it worked out if you don't see it on shelf its in back.
