Supplements in waterer.

Hi there. :frow

If your birds are getting a formulated ration not diminished by excess treats... supplementation should not be required. If you aren't going to use a "layer" feed, (I never do) providing oyster shell on the side for the ladies to take as needed for egg production is required.

Should you choose to supplement vitamins and such as it can sometimes be beneficial, it should be done NO longer than 10 days in a row.

My preferred product is rooster booster brand Poultry Cell product. But I use it to boost right before hatching and such. Not so much for standard laying.

Get your first egg yet?! :pop

Thanks for the info.

I'm going to keep them on starter. And feed OS on the side. No eggs yet, but I'm thinking I'm only a few weeks away. Comb's are really growing fast and getting redder fast.
Definitely ready for some rent. Lol.
