Supporting advanced pasty butt

I picked some 5 day old chicks up today from someone who knew one was weaker and seemed to be wanting to offload it. Got her home and warm and discovered she had really terrible pasty butt. I got her cleaned up and dry and got her to drink a tiny bit of water with vitamins in it. She’s super lethargic, very wobbly and weak.
What else can I do to help her pull through? I don’t know how long she was like this.
When I got the clog cleaned up, her little body seemed swollen and she was able to release some really watery, yellow Mia fecal matter. The swelling seems better now but she won’t eat, wont drink unless I dip her beak, and hasn’t pooped again yet. The others were trampling and pecking her so she’s set up in a small bin with a towel inside the bigger brooder now, with food and water.

What are you giving her to drink? Got electrolytes? Anything for baby chicks? I can't think of anything by name right now, I took a pain pill. But if you have nothing, mix her up a little sugar water: 1 tsp sugar in 1 c warm water*, plus a pinch each of salt and baking soda. Mix till dissolved and dip her beak in it. Good luck with her!

I snagged some powder from my mom. I don’t know what it is but I know it has electrolytes and vitamins and is for chicks. I’ve gotten her to drink a bit more but still nothing to eat. Her poops are nothing but water.
So frustrating… weekend is coming but I still have work tomorrow and won’t be able to monitor her and keep her drinking and clean.
Checked temps and they’re at 92.

She has a tiny bit of fleshy red on her bottom. I can’t tell if it’s just sore and agitated or something prolapsing.

She was alive this morning! Standing a bit and no longer splayed out, so that's an improvement. Pasty butt again, but not nearly as bad. I got her cleaned up, dried off, back under the heat lamp and she had some more water and pecked at the food, but I don't think she actually ate any. She's still really weak. I'll offer her some egg yolk when I get home.
She's ok removed from the rest of the chicks, right? They can see and hear each other, but not directly interact. I wanted her on a towel instead of the bedding the rest are on, and they kept running over her and pecking at her.

Yep, keep her separated for now. It’s great that they can all see each other. Keep going with the electrolytes and try some warm wet mash - just add some hot water to the chicken starter crumbles until they’re wet but not a slurry. Scrambled egg yolks are great if you can get her to eat that. How are you providing warmth for her?

I'll start giving her some dampened crumbles. I read somewhere around here that raw egg yolk may help give her the boost she needs to get over this. Is cooked vs. raw better?
She has a clamp lamp, white bulb, and a CHE for night heat. I've just been adjusting the distance based on the manual thermometer readings.

This is really helpful, thanks! There's TONS of info on this website, but it can be kinda hard to locate some things in all of it. I definitely want to give this a try for my little ladies.

The baby seems a bit better. Her poop was much more solid, but still stuck to her. She’s has periods where she seems weaker or stronger. Peeps quite a lot, and her sound is stronger. She’s not really eating though and no interest in dampened crumbles.
