Supposed RIR Pullets

These are supposed to be RIR Pullets but they are feathering out differently, so I think either may be New Hampshire Reds or Red Sex-Links. Help is very much appreciated!

The hatchery RIR / production reds often do seem to feather in a little funny colorwise at the start, they actually do look like a lot of the pictures people have posted of them on here... the second chick also looks like a possible cockerel from that picture.
 
Yes the second one does look like a cockerel.
 
Darn! I guess my sexing skills aren't that great yet. I thought it was a pullet. For future reference, what makes you say it's a roo?
 
Both of them? Great. First a loss, then a sexing error, and now I won't even be able to show them since they're Production Reds?
