Is she a mix of some sort maybe?
What do y’all think? 3 weeks old. Feathers seem long and not “fluffy” enough, but this is my first chick from this breed so maybe she is? Looks like a black version of my Brahma when she was a chick!

They are not pure Silkies. They might be Satins though. And yes, they are smooth feathered.

Looks like a silkie mix to me. Silkies that age wont be super fluffy, but will have pronounced “fluff” to where you can obviously tell they are silkies.
