Supposed to be a SLW... is it??

My SLW thst I bought as a day old chick is puzzling me.... her lacing is kind of black and white but also with gold.
Any idea?

Her comb is off, too. I think you have a mixed breed. She's very pretty and unique!

Where did you get her? Could be one of those fancy egg laying hybrids maybe??

Not an SLW. Not a Gold Laced W either. Yes, the SLW background is definitely there, but something else is present too. Do you know the composition of the flock that came from???

Her comb isn’t off, it looks like a regular rose comb to me.

Today - about 10 weeks: These are from TSC, so Hoover Hatchery in my area. Obviously, they won't be winning any awards. Sorry I don't have a picture showing the comb. Single and Rose comb varieties exist, you want the rose for your breeders, I believe. (Someone check me on this, please???)

She came from a breeder! She breeds orpingtons, cochins, SLW and GLW, cream legbars, marans blue and BCM, bielefelder and faverolle.... i got all my chicks from her... i wonder what mix could give that coloring?
