I finished feeding the baby goat and decided to check on the chickens & ducks to see if i needed to pick up any stray eggs. I opened the door and saw no eggs but then i saw a tiny little brown chick!! nuzzled up to momma.
My 2 Sizzle girls & 1 Muscovy hen have been sharing 2 nests...So I Really didn't think anything would hatch! I checked momma closer & found another baby and lots more hatching! This is her first time brooding and she's done so good
I had to trick the blue sizzle hen(her sister) away from her babies with a clutch of wooden eggs, lol...she was getting upset about not having any eggs though.
They're probably EE's, cochins(sizzle, frizzle, smooth) or a mix of the 2. The first 2 had feathered legs though and looked EE..just have to wait and see!
