It is pretty ironic and amusing, definitely. I'm using Chrome on my android.

You've done nothing wrong and the adds are funny, I'm just concerned there are some folks with strong feelings and I didn't want to see things go sideways.

Chickens can eat pretty much anything humans can eat. Like humans, chickens probably ought not be baconitarians, but a little left-over of pretty much anything you were eating is okay unless you eat really weird stuff. Don’t give them your left-over absinthe or puffer fish... other than that I think you’re safe.

If I make bacon (which I hardly ever do because it makes such a mess to fry it) there’s not going to be anything left over for the poor hungry girls who gave me the (really expensive) eggs to go with it. I do give them the chicken bones left over from making stock... it seems kind of, I don’t know... gruesome? Creepy? But they do love it. If I were to die in the chicken run, they’d definitely eat me, so I don’t mind giving them chicken bones, I guess. Chickens used to live on whatever they could scrounge and whatever the (too often nearly-starving) family could spare for them. We think we need scientifically formulated feed for them? That’s the power of modern marketing.

Please excuse my rambling... the least bit of wine goes right to my head... there’s none left over, either. Sorry, chickens.

I was trying to ignore the controversy part, to each their own. But the original topic was about one of my favorite things, bacon!
