A few months back I gave my niece 2 pullets and a cockerel. They were just for pets and something got a hold of one of the pullets and killed it, so they let them out of the pen to free range. Yesterday my BIL found an egg in front of his shop. My niece was sooo excited, upon further investigation, my bil found a nest of 13 eggs. They have decided to let her hatch them, we shall see. My niece would love to see some babies poking out from under her next month.
