Is this a case of if you can't beat 'em, join 'em? You are one lucky fellow to have a wife who is quackers for you!
My husband is awesome like that, too. He has sat with me every time I've had to dose our ducks with antibiotics--just to be supportive--and he took care of Duchess's body for me. He really enjoys gifts and I appreciate acts of service, so we each try to speak love to the other in their language. But I think I could be bilingual enough to be super appreciative of that coffee mug you got. Collecting mugs is my other weakness besides ducks.

You need to work together as a team and support each other in difficult situations, accept each others weaknesses and try to equal them out.
Last year when Limpy was sick to death and i had to travel to a customer, she took over and filled him up with pills until he rattled that's the reason why he is still with us.
Oh, and i am collecting mugs from all over the world, driving my wife insane - mugs in every cabinet…
