I am going to get some fertile eggs to place under my two hens when they go broody. Does it matter if the eggs aren't the exact same age, eg if one is 7 days into fertility and another is 9 days. Also does it matter if they are the different breeds? Thanks
and Welcome To BYC! X3, the hens won't care what breeds the eggs are, and the age of the eggs doesn't matter to them. Just be sure that when you put eggs under a hen, you put them all under her the same day.
