Lilac had followed them and had smelled the bobcat too "Daddy, I smell a bobcat and her kit!" she whispered.

Claw nodded to Lilac. He said "You, Crystal, and Blade go for the kit. I'll get the mother." He jumped at the bobcat mother and sliced her next open. He bit her neck, killing her.

Crystal jumped on the bobcat kit, biting at its back.

Lilac raced back to them making tiny growls at Twilight when she got there. Lilac raced after Claw "Daddy! If we find the bobcat you can fight the mama and I can fight the kit!" she whispered.
