Nomad would stop periodically, listening and scenting the air. Zeroing in on a herd of deer. He looked back at Mayan and asked, "Are you interested or do you desire something smaller? "

Claw lunged at one of the larger deer, killing it, as they spoke. He started dragging it back home.

Ghoul was with him, having left Mist behind to sleep. She was well guarded:

Kebechet laid down with the rabbit under one of her paws, and started eating it. She was probably going to make an attempt to hunt something else, so there was no reason to leave.

While Kebechet was eating, she was occasionally looking around to make sure she would notice any predators if there were any around.

As all the deer had now left, Claw and Ghoul started eating the deer then and there.
