Claw said "I took the alpha, who was twice your size." He kept on walking, back home.
She turned and walked nonchalantly away, in no particular direction. She was very lonely. She came to a clear stream after about 6 miles of walking, and although she smelled very strong wolf-scent, she drank

Mayan found a hollow log, and of course less than comfortable, she curled up to sleep. Something seemed.. wrong, though. She smelled wolf ... feces. In the morning, she decided, she'd move on

Mayan stirred and went out to get a drink of water. She froze. There where footsteps, those of a large male wolf. She dove back in her log, shaking

Nomad quenched his thirst and looked around for a possible den site. This being the heart of his territory, it would be easier to defend from any interlopers or possibly infected. He saw an overhang up the bank, that he could hollow out below the tree roots. It was high enough to be safe from a washout rain and offered a look out view of the area. He looked to the angle of the sun and decided shelter was a priority, it would be evening soon. He sprinted up the slow slope of the embankment. Once he climbed to his coveted spot, he looked out over his territory and frowned. There was a wolf on the northern side of the steam. He sat on his hunches and watched it cautiously. Was it infected, a male seeking a fight for his territory or a curious neighbor.
