Oak nodded and stepped out of the way. He padded over to a near by tree to look for sap.

Sorrel eyed the loner occasionally but mainly lounged in the water, eating her aquatic plants.

Oak was finding no luck with the sap and with a flick of his tail towards sorrel he continued his search deeper.

Full from her snack, Sorrel padded out of the stream and sunbathed on a rock. an ear was pointed in the direction Oak went in case trouble arise.

Silver continued to trot through the bushs, until she reached her den. She entered it caughtiously, then lay down and went to sleep for a bit

Nova walked around the elk wondering how just a few wolves could drag this back for the rest of the pack. She suggested,"Wouldn't it just be easier if we just called the pack to come eat?"
 
After finding a fill of sweet sap, Oak trotted back towards Sorrel.

Sorrel gave the approaching male a nod before leading the way upstream.
