~*~Survive The City: A Stray Dog Role Play~*~

Grimm was silent for a few moments longer. "Then I wish you all the best," he replied, in his usual grim way. He got to his feet, looking toward the dogs gathered at the base of the Ritualist's tree with a frown on his maw. "I should probably get back to my pack," he said, this time in a tone loud enough that it caught Mystery and Xhanli's attention.

"See you soon, my friend," replied Xhanli, dipping his head as Grimm turned back toward the park.

Mystery, meanwhile, padded to Dixie's side. "What were you two talking about so secretively?" he asked in a joking tone, giving her an elbow. He chuckled a bit, but soon let his laughter fade. "You'll never guess why Grimm was here," he said, himself looking a bit grim at the mention. His green eyes, filled with kindness and adoration, moved to meet Dixie's gaze, and he gave her a somewhat sad smile.
"Well.. We were both Jargoans, at one point; we wanted to catch up on each others' lives." she chuckled. "Don't be jealous," she added, equally jokingly. Her expression fell when he added his last statement. "Why was he here?" she asked.

"It seems," Mystery began hesitantly, "that Finn, the poodle we talked to so many months ago, has been killed." He knew that Dixie wasn't particularly fond of the poodle, but still spoke in a regretful tone. "And there were reports of a black dog with green eyes in the area around his home." At this, he looked a bit angry, knowing just one dog by that description that would have committed such an act.

((Well... I really should go. D: I stayed 20 minutes longer than I was going to originally, though! I have a test on Tuesday and shouldn't have much homework over the next week, so hopefully we'll get some role play in then! :fl ))

Dixie, despite disliking the dog with much passion, looked horrified. And angered. ".. Slate," she growled under her breath, thinking the same as Mystery. "I am so going to butcher him when I find him," she added angrily. "He'd better watch his stupid little tail around our pack," she concluded with a furious snort.

(I hope so! D: See you later, then.)
