~*~Survive The City: A Stray Dog Role Play~*~

Quote: "Why?" The dog hissed, becoming annoyed with the two dogs.
"What, we can't be curious without a reason?" Gremlin retorted sourly, glaring up at the bigger dog. He was small and rather fragile for his size, but he could put on a tough-guy exterior if he wanted to.

"Yes, what?" Ant repeated.

"SHUT UP!" Gremlin snarled, fed up with the pup's clingy behavior. "Go find something to keep yourself occupied, Anthony!"

"Yes, sir," Ant said, nodding his head and scurrying away.
Roach pulled his lips back in an angry hiss. "There must be a reason.." he muttered softly, almost to himself. He looked up and around, scanning the area for other dogs. "Maybe...." he muttered again, going through possibilities.
"Anyway," Gremlin began, "if you want evil, we're your guys." It was a sad attempt to change the subject, but true- Gremlin - not so much Ant, although he was forced - enjoyed evil more than life.

( I kinda want to see what Gremlin said in a commercial jingle. )
"Who says I'm looking for partners?" The dog cackled, throwing his head back in laughter. "You two would be useless to me!" he dabbed his eyes with a paw, and then bared his teeth and put his nose frighteningly close to Gremin's. "Stay out'a my way. If I so much as see you on my tail... oh hohoho, you'll wish you hadn't ever thought of following me." he spat, letting Gremlin up. With that, the small, but thick copper dog padded swiftly away.

Yes, new thread! Finally! I'm so happy!!)

(Oops...)

Dixie nodded. "Their names... Well, there's Indigo--we call him Indy--, then there's Jet and Gray, and of course you've met Slate. That leaves the tomboy... Cosmo." Dixie smiled fondly as she called Cosmo a tomboy. The little she-pup really behaved more like her brothers!

Just then, Raven poked her head in the den. "Uh... Mom?" she asked. In her jaws, she held a squealing, giggling, squirming little Zebedee. "Who is this?" she asked, frowning.

Teal looked a bit uncertain. "Indigo," he repeated. "You named one after dad?" He looked to Mystery questioningly. He had always felt that Indigo (senior) had treated them both badly, though in his youth he had always seen it as Mystery being treated better than him. He wasn't sure why Mystery would want to name his pup after that dog.

Mystery, who knew what Teal was thinking, gave him a reminiscent look. "Yes, we did." He had not been there to name little Indy, but had given the name idea to Dixie, and he couldn't be happier knowing one of his sons was named after the dog that raised him like a father. He was about to explain further on his reasons when Raven entered the house, with Zebedee in tow. "...Zeb? You followed, too?"

Slate saw Zeb as well and made a disgruntled noise, rolling his eyes. What was her deal? He shook his head and looked away, maintaining his sour mood.

"Yes, Mama," Sadie replied, glum and angry at the same time. She shot a dagger-glare in her siblings' direction, then padded off to the den entrance, sitting down gloomily and staring out at the sky. She wanted to go further, but decided against it.

Just then, Diablo padded past her. "Hey, you wanna go for a walk with me, kiddo?" he asked. Though Diablo had been both unprepared and shocked by the pups, he was beginning to warm up to the idea of a family, and he especially liked keeping doom-and-gloom Sadie company.

Sparks stared at her father and Sadie with contempt. "Dad spends all the time with Sadie," she huffed grumpily once they had left. "It's not fair!"

(I think I will have two pups. :D)
"Yeah, he does!" Jane exclaimed, scowling. Her statement was backed up by two "Yeah!"s from the other pups.

Trance rolled her eyes, but covered her scoff up with a disapproving glare. "Quiet, kids."

( Okay.

Quote: Janus bristled agrily. Who was that? She stalked silently towards the voice, and a clever trick popped into her mind. She mimicked Hades from behind a bush. "Yes?" she said in his voice.
Tasha's brows came together. That didn't quite sound like Hades. She delicately cleared her throat. "Excuse me, Hades. Um, but I want to discuss something very important with you."

Quote: "No, I wanted to expwore, and I came hewe because I heawd you... And I think I'wm wost..." she said, making a funny face at how her words sounded, compared to other pups. Dixie also looked shocked. "Where's Kinzy?" she asked.

And at that moment, the sounds of chaos aroused from outside. "Zebedee!" Gray was yelping, and suddenly, Cosmo pelted through the dog-door. Sitting confusedly on the floor, she saw Zeb sitting in Raven's jaws and said, "There you are!" almost indignantly.

Next into the house was Gray, as Kinzy tried to hold him back, her jaws on his tail. Looking frazzled, she had a paw on Jet's rump, trying to keep him from doing anything, and she hoped Indy was cooperating.

(If that's okay...)

"Wha's goin' on here?" came the gruff, sleepy voice of Hades, shaking his black and white-spotted head to clear the sleepiness from his eyes.
