~*~Survive The City: A Stray Dog Role Play~*~

( She has 6 pups, and I play 3. You can lower 6 to 4 or 5 if you don't want to play 3 pups, whatever you want. )

Trance's pups were growing into fine toddlers, and as curious as young beings could possibly be- a trait that they, no doubt, inherited from their mother. One pup, a tiny copy of Trance, liked to engage her siblings in a game of tug-o'-war. Two others - one that could be mistaken for Diablo as a pup, and another that could also if not for the amber eyes of his mother - were much calmer, but had the feisty spirit of both their parents.

Quote: "Why?" The dog hissed, becoming annoyed with the two dogs.
"What, we can't be curious without a reason?" Gremlin retorted sourly, glaring up at the bigger dog. He was small and rather fragile for his size, but he could put on a tough-guy exterior if he wanted to.

"Yes, what?" Ant repeated.

"SHUT UP!" Gremlin snarled, fed up with the pup's clingy behavior. "Go find something to keep yourself occupied, Anthony!"

"Yes, sir," Ant said, nodding his head and scurrying away.
Roach pulled his lips back in an angry hiss. "There must be a reason.." he muttered softly, almost to himself. He looked up and around, scanning the area for other dogs. "Maybe...." he muttered again, going through possibilities.
"Anyway," Gremlin began, "if you want evil, we're your guys." It was a sad attempt to change the subject, but true- Gremlin - not so much Ant, although he was forced - enjoyed evil more than life.

( I kinda want to see what Gremlin said in a commercial jingle. )

(I will do one, I think. =/ )

One of Trance's pups, a she-pup with a white body built like her father's, with black ears and assorted black markings and tan toes padded around the den, bored.

((Back, sorry that took so long! I made supper for my brother and I while I was up.

New thread!! :weee ))

"Yes, yes," Juliet said hurriedly, almost tiredly, as if these two dog were exhausting. "Anyways. Why did you follow me?"

Zeia gave her a somewhat contemptuous look. "We didn't," she replied, watching as Delano headed off toward the pond. "I just happened to see you while Delano was hunting and thought I would say hello." The last part of that sentence was spoken in a mocking tone, though she managed to tame down her attitude, simply looking away from Juliet as if insulted.

Dixie seemed to enjoy seeing the two brothers' interactions, and she realized Teal was nothing like he had been. She sighed.

"Yes, two, in fact." she replied to Teal, also recalling the very things Mystery had feared in having sons. "And they are perfectly wonderful little boys, too. Not a bone in them like that Ridge," she added, as if to assure Teal.

((...Don't they have three boys? ))

Teal nodded in understanding. "Good to hear," he replied, offering her a smile. He knew Ridge had been the source of many nightmares for Mystery, and in spite of Teal's words, Mystery always seemed to have this nagging feeling of dread. Teal was glad to hear that at least his worst fears about his sons were not coming true. "So, what are their names?"

( Okay. 4 pups it is. Good number; not too little as to be bored with it, but not to big as to be overrun with pups. )

Jane, the tug-o'-war fanatic and Trance's look-alike, perked her ears at her sister's clear bore, and took the opportunity to lung for her with a snapping maw; perhaps bored pups played better than tired pups, which her other two siblings so clearly were.

At Jane's lunge, Trance straightened, slightly alarmed.

Yes, new thread! Finally! I'm so happy!!)

(Oops...)

Dixie nodded. "Their names... Well, there's Indigo--we call him Indy--, then there's Jet and Gray, and of course you've met Slate. That leaves the tomboy... Cosmo." Dixie smiled fondly as she called Cosmo a tomboy. The little she-pup really behaved more like her brothers!

Just then, Raven poked her head in the den. "Uh... Mom?" she asked. In her jaws, she held a squealing, giggling, squirming little Zebedee. "Who is this?" she asked, frowning.

Sadie screamed a bit, rolling over in fear and staring up at the pup above her. "Why'd you do that?" the unhappy pup wailed. "Mawwwma!"

( As soon as Chickenfan writes up a starter so I know what to do with Hades. )
(Here ya go.)

Janus padded onto the iced over Koi pond, unaware that that might have been dangerous on a different day, and howled to Hades. She couldn't stop thinking about him and his desperate pack.
