Sylver shrunk and winced as Ella's tiny puppy teeth sank through her skin. She shook it off, mentally, and nodded to Faith; though her insides were screaming furiously at the she-dog. She tore into the buddy bank, "Faith, dig!" She snarled as a new wave of water poured into the den.

"But... he's all alone in the dark, and there are monsters out there!" Ella wailed. "What if a monster gets him before we find him?" and she began to bawl. She held onto Sylver's scruff, but in her mind, the had already begun to cogitate letting go and running after Taj.

(Pipd---have I gotten better at writing??? :D)

((I think you're all doing fantastically. ;) ))

Faith looked to the pup, her mouth hanging open speechlessly. Faith was not good with pups, especially crying pups. She didn't even know what to say. Ella was too young to understand. Instead, she noddeed to Sylver, and went at digging with new-found energy--or maybe it was desperation.

Kage gave him a knowing look. "Yeah, sure." He replied, padding down to the pet store.
Odio dipped his head in a silent thanks, and sauntered up to Sedna, practicing his short speech to her under his breath, and counting the steps till he reached her. He ceased to walk upon reaching her, and cracked a flirty, decisive grin. "Hello, there. How many eligible males as myself have had the pleasure of laying eyes upon the likes of you?" he said, smacking himself on the inside, realizing how half-baked that sounded. He looked at her, hopeful.

Sylver's muscles screamed as she tore only her second gouge in the mud bank. "Keep going..." She murmured to herself.

Amy sighed, and decided to go hunt for a squirrel or mouse or something for her mother. She's had enough stress already, "she didn't need to worry about food". Amy thought.

The rain was still pouring hard, but Amy still found a good bush and crouched behind it, stalking a small squirrel that was hiding a few acorns in the muddy ground. After a few moments, Amy jumped out and grabbed the rodent by the scruff, and bit down hard. It squirmed a bit, then, lay still in her jaws. Amy carried it back to the den, the pouring rain had lightened up. Making it easier to see where she was going.

(Thank you! :D)

Ella continued dangling from her mother's scruff, but she started to lament, no longer content with being patient; "My teeths hurt, and I don't like hanging here. I wanna get down!"

Sylver grunted in pain, as her claws struck a stone. She let out a gasp of surprise as her back legs slipped, and down she fell to the den floor.

Sedna looked back at him with a -_- look on her face. "A lot."
"How many have had the pleasure of seeing your smile?" Odio asked, his romantic mood annihilated by her grumpiness. He refused to look down, though his paws, and the condition of his claws seemed quite fascinating at the moment. It was as if it took all the muscle in his neck to hold up his head, and keep it at that angle.

Faith glanced up as she dug, her eyes reflecting the flash of lightning that shot across the sky just then. They were getting closer! Faith's legs were burning from the effort, but at least they would live! Closer and closer they came, until at last Faith could reach the top. She hoped out of the den, flinching as thunder rumbled overhead, and reached back into the den. "Here, pass me Ella!" she called, ignoring the water tugging at her paws as it flowed down into the den.
