History: use to hunt with his father, and wrestle with his siblings. But when a dog catcher gets his father, and his mother and siblings get separated, his family, now a broken family, was split and lost. Matt heads out to find his family and future, if he even had a chance of any.

Other: one leg is shorter than the rest
 
As Matt limped through the soft green grass the wind turned sour and harsh, and the clouds turned dark and bitter, swirling above his small puppy ears. His short little leg made it hard to run to shelter. The wind whipped his fur around, and began raining, and not just a little sprinkle or a regular rain shower... No... It came by buckets and buckets. Pouring down on Matt. The began to rise, higher, and higher, past his knees. He saw a nearby cave, swimming his way towards it, not knowing who or what it belonged to. Limping the whole way. He made a mad dash into the small shelter that sat in the middle of what was now willow pack.

She scooted a young pup forward, tried the squirm and kick away from being pushed forward "and this is Amanda..." She scooted another, slightly older than the other, pup. "Nice to meet you." Jenna, even in the middle of a storm like this, giggled a small bubbly laugh, then ran behind Lia again. Now zach had a good look at her pups, but never got a chance at a good look at Lia.. A look of confusion crossed Zach's maw... Where was the father, or the other pups? ...

Lia's jaw tightened, the awkward silence growing. The darkness prevented a good look at this male dog that sat in the flooded cave in front of her. "You can come up here out of the water, if you'd like." She figured that he had nodded because of the movement of his shadow, and moved up to the higher rocks. Jenna and Amanda moved to the opposite side of Lia as Zach moved up to the higher ground, away from the flooding water, which was quickly rising...
