Swampson paused, looking directly at Sonya. "Come. You, too, Hollyleap. Looks like yer lessons are startin' early." And then, he hobbled after Jargo.

Sonya stood, frowning and holding her ears back in distress. She looked to Hollyleap, then followed her father loyally.

Harli snarled quietly, and curled her lip at the approaching pawsteps.

Jargo led them into the den. "Harli, my girl, I've brought a medical dog." he said, cautious, since she seemed a little tempermental right about now...

Harli snarled quietly, and curled her lip at the approaching pawsteps.

Swampson heard the she-dog snarl as he entered the den. Pausing at a distance, he looked her over and nodded slowly. "Lass, I know yer hurtin'. I can help, but ya have t'a trust me, okay?" he called to her, his voice still gruff but containing some softness.

He looked to Jargo. "I'll be needin' t'a send these two out fer things," he said, motioning to Sonya and Hollyleap. "If'n ya must, send a guard with 'em, but I can't help this lass without 'em goin'." He gave Jargo a sharp look, then turned back to Harli.

"Now, I'm comin' over. You just stay settled there, lass, an' everything'll be alright." And slowly, he began to approach Harli.

Harli curled her lip, glancing at Jargo, then back at Swampson. She growled, then shuddered as another pain rippled through her.

Jargo looked at Harli. "Diablo!" Diablo, who was sharpining his nails on the rock floor, snapped to attention.

"Yes, Alpha Jargo... Sir...?" he asked, stuttering a bit.

"Go with Hollyleap and Sonya. If they bolt... kill them."

Diablo grinned a demonic grin and turned to Sonya and Hollyleap.
