Quote: Rowan chuckled at her enthusiasm and loped ahead, stopping every so often to mark a border. He glanced back at her and thought, Well, she seems nice. He smiled and kept walking, his ears flapping in the wind as he went.

Almaz sat down again and glared firmly at him, her gaze unwavering and ever-vicious. "Good," she said, finally calm and dignified once more. She groomed her fur and said, "And what trial would that be?" she asked.

((It's supposed to storm here, so I'm not going to be able to post much for a little while. My connection is already getting shaky.

(Ugh, c'mon!)

(Poor Ginger. I think you meant Ginger...)
(Oh crap, yep. I meant Ginger. >.<)
Rowan chuckled at her enthusiasm and loped ahead, stopping every so often to mark a border.

Ruby trotted on, turning her soft gaze onto everything that caught her eye. She padded up to Rowan, clearly hesitant to speak, "Excuse me, but um, what did you saw about challenging another alpha?" she wondered.

"I want you to find a dog." Everest snarled, fury boiling in his veins. "And kill her."

Saffron frowned in surprise, a curious way of showing that emotion. "Well that's odd," she said. "Unless it just hurts for her to talk, that wound shouldn't prevent her from speaking... But I figure you're probably right; it is fairly deep." Shaking her head, she said, "Well, we'd best get her to my den,"

Mantis gave her a look of uncertainty. "How..?" he started, though he looked down toward the she-dog, and the fear in her eyes... They were trespassing here, and if someone found her while he was away, he wasn't sure what she could do... He looked up to Saffron. "Okay," he replied. The wounded dog was smaller than he was, though not much younger, but he was sure he was strong enough to carry her. Somewhat awkwardly, he took her by the scruff and started to haul her up onto his back. She was thin, something that was not easy to see while she was laying down, and surprisingly light. Balancing her carefully, Mantis looked away from her and to Saffron, waiting for the medical dog to lead the way.

((Did I miss a post with Dixie?))
