Horsetail and Goldenrod poultices were slathered smoothly over the wounds, and a few juniper berries sat, not too far away.
Mantis exhaled with relief, standing back as the medical dog went to work He watched with worry as the wounded she-dog winced here and there, feeling stinging pain on some of the wounds as poultice was applied. Still, the stinging faded soon enough and was replaced by well-needed numbness where before there was just soreness. Her eyes moved around slowly, and a relieved smile crossed her maw, her gaze finally stopping on Saffron thankfully.
