(He's so scared I just wanna huggle him! :hit )

Dixie sat down, relaxed and calm. "Of course," she said, her voice calm and mostly kind. She could tell Teal really was scared. She hadn't the slightest idea why; did he really think they would still want to hurt him? She thought for a moment and realized she had been rather aggressive on her last meeting with the blue-eyed cripple.

"How have you been?" she added at last. "I hear Raven pays you often visits,"

Teal tried not to seem suspicious, though he was very cautious with his response to her. "Oh, you know. Life's pretty good when you've got humans to take care of you," he said, though he paused afterwards as he realized how that may have sounded boastful. "...Not that it's better here than anywhere else!" he added quickly.

Mystery chuckled, sitting down there where he stood. "Relax, Teal," he said, his tone warm. Teal seemed to take these words to heart, looking sheepishly from Mystery to Dixie. Then, he noticed Slate sitting quietly behind Mystery.

"Who is this?" he asked, managing a smile. "...That's not one of your pups, is it?" he asked suddenly, his eyes widening a bit.

Mystery nudged Slate forward encouragingly. "No, no, this is Slate," he introduced, looking from Teal to the pup. "Slate, this is my brother, Teal."

Slate's eyes widened a bit. "We have another brother?" he whispered to Mystery, at which the older dog chuckled again.

"No, Slate, he's not really our brother. His parents adopted me when my mother left, so we were raised together. But Teal and I are pretty much like brothers," Mystery explained.

At this, Slate went quiet, a strange expression on his face. He looked to Teal, frowning, then turned away, a sullen look on his face.

Mystery watched him, then shrugged, looking back to Teal as the blue-eyed dog spoke to Dixie.

"Raven does visit quite often," Teal said in response to Dixie's statement about the young she-dog. "She is quite kind to me. You did a great job raising her." His brow furrowed a bit, and he hoped he didn't sound like he was just trying to flatter her.

( Mine is temperamental about quoting; I have to fight with it. Oh, yeah, and posting pictures, too. )

Juliet gracefully ignored Zeia's congratulations, as she wasn't one to thank another. Instead, she shifted her gaze to Delano. "No... I don't know 'how he gets'," she said, eyes narrowing ever-so-slightly. "Care to tell me?"

Delano, who had finished his so-called 'hunt', was now approaching. Zeia looked his direction, then rolled her eyes a bit at the sight of the mangled prey hanging from his bloody muzzle. "Such a brute!" she said with a slight huff. At last turning her attention to the Alpha's question, she drew a paw to her chest dramatically. "Oh, you know. He's got the killing urge. When he lives around other dogs, it seems to get worse." She shook her head. "Why, I'd be afraid he'd kill everyone in sight if I didn't take him to hunt!" This was a slight hint about Zeia's position of power, though she hid it well, giving Juliet what she hoped was a concerned look.

Name: Brett
Gender: Male
Age: 3 Years
Pack: Indigo Pack
Rank: Beta Male
Mate: none
Personality: He is very serious, level headed, and can easily keep his cool in nearly any situation. Not entirely hardcore, he knows when to have fun, and loves the company of other dogs. Extremely loyal to his pack, Brett would die to defend it. He is also loyal to those whom he sees as friends or family to him, willing to fiercely protect them.
History: Born as a loner, Brett joined Indigo Pack at Scourge's previous reign. He now serves Hades.
Breed: An odd mixed breed, with no defining traits.
Other:
Picture or Description:

He is tall, long legged, with medium length, wire-hair that extends past his belly, and also runs down his chin, forming a beard that Brett keeps neat and clean. His eyes are dark brown, almost reddish colored. The fur on his back is wavy, and his tail is long like a whip.

The small dog's tail vanished as he headed around the corner.

( Hehe... okay. )

Gremlin followed, his ears perked and eyes dancing. His irises and pupils couldn't easily be told apart, due to the iris's dark coloring, but the mischievous glint dancing through them could, from a regular innocent look.
Ant followed trailed behind, knowing better than to call out; if he did, he would get another dark red welt to his ear.

Quote: Dixie watched Slate with some sympathy, but looked back to Teal again. "Thank you," she said quietly. Her brow furrowed as she thought again of the distant, dark she-dog. Remembering that Teal had seemed to be surprised by the thought that Slate was their pup, she decided to add, "We have another litter. Four crazy little trouble-makers," she added, beaming.

Once the two dogs rounded the corner, a flash of copper fur whizzed infront of them, and then bowled Gremlin over. White teeth flashed before the dog's face and a voice, too hidden by snarls to be recognized, growled: "Why are you following me?!"
