Jargo dropped Melanie into the crate and closed the door quickly. "Now," he said, grinning. "If you leave, you will have to leave Melanie, and if you leave Melanie, I will kill her, so I would suggest not leaving." he said.

Layla just stared at Melanie. Her heart broken. "Jargo. Am I permitted to hunt for her?" She asked quietly, her tail tucked under her legs but limply.
