Banner scooted out of the way, but stumbled over his own feet, and fell laughing. "You big lug!" He laughed, batting his paw at his friend.

Rex chuckled, then went oomph! as one of Banner's paws smacked him in the jaw.

Still laughing, he nipped at Banner. Suddenly, he froze, and went tense. Something was moving. It was in the brush. "Shhh..." he whispered to Banner. "There's something in the brush over there"---he gestured with his tail.

"Argh!" it cried out. It was the dog that had brought Layla as prisoner. "WHO ARE YOU?! WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING US?! TALK!!!" Rex roared, his eyes burning.
