(I know what you mean: I was hoping for Jargo to be more like this, but, for some reason, he doesn't seem to be so...)

((I find with most of my characters that I can write down how I generally want them to be, but in the end they behave in a way that just feels right for them as I am writing. Okay, I know that sounds silly, but... ))

Melanie couldn't take it any longer. She sprinted from the den, and raced back to Banner. When she saw Rex, she stopped. "No... no, no, no, NO!" She screamed, collapsing at Banner's side.

Buck only laughed. "Your scaring me to death!" He chuckled, his voice holding a high pitch mocking tone.

Harli frowned. "This isn't how I wanted it to turn out." She snarled. "Stupid me, stupid, stupid me!" She growled.

(Haha, I hope it isn't too crazy!

)

Rex looked at her with a piteous look in his eyes. "He told me to tell you he loved you, and that you should find another mate..." Rex whimpered.

Endigo glared at Buck. "Why are you so evil?" he growled.

"My dear, you most certainly are not stupid! How dare you call yourself that?!" he said, licking her cheek. "Everything will turn out fine..."

Delano's paw caught his shoulder, landing with a thud.  For once, Stone was grateful for his wide stance and thick build.  He grinned.  "You can't throw me like that" he said, keeping his head down to protect his throat.  He dove at Delano's chest again, snapping.

Delano let him reach his chest, which gave him an opening to snap at the back of Stone's neck. His teeth bared, he reached with his head already shaking side to side, hoping to do as much damage as possible if he made contact with his target.

Stone dove at the lst moment possible, dropping onto his back underneath Delano, thrashing his hind paws at Delano's underbelly while snapping at his chest.

Melanie trembled. "Never." She whispered to Banner's motionless body.

"Why is the sky blue?" Buck laughed. "I just love being evil." He chuckled, staring murderously at Endigo.

Harli sighed. "I wish I coulda' licked him good." She whimpered, leaning against him. (Licked as in beating up. Not licked like licking.

)

(OOPS! Not yet.)

Layla duck under a bush, trembling with fear. She didn't want to go, she couldn't.

Delano reared up, and then put his front paws together, aiming to slam them down as hard as he could onto Stone. He couldn't help himself. With his wild-eyed look of some corrupted type of joy, a small laugh slipped from his maws, which were still held ajar, though now in joy. Slobber rolled off his tongue and dribbled from his fangs. He had really lost it for his blood-lust.

((He's actually starting to creep me out now. ))

Stone kicked as hard as he could, aiming for Delano's belly. He moved back a bit, just out of Delano's paw's range, grinning. There was a sharp stone where he had been laying. He figured Delano's paw would slam into it instead.
