Delano was quiet as the wind, hardly making a sound as he stepped out of the undergrowth. He was quite the sight, with wounds here and there, and a thoroughly bloodied patch on his chest. Still, he carried himself as if he felt nothing of it, standing tall and towering over Rex. "Where is Layla?" he rumbled in a cold, low tone. He made no move like he would attack. Yet.

"Why do you care?!" Rex muttered, acting as though he was bored and uninterested.
 
((Off topic, but my mom just got home from visiting my aunt and brought a gift for me. My aunt gave me two of those hen-in-nest glass dishes, a green one and an orange one! :celebrate I love chicken stuff! :D ))

Endigo saw his moment. He slunk around Buck and ran into the open. Then he grinned at Buck. "Jargo's gonna kill you when he finds out what you've done!" he snarled.

"Indeed. You will be leading the pack into battle, while I deal with the new alpha." Jargo had heard of the new alpha.

Melanie let out a cry of pain, and laid on the ground whimpering. "Rex!" She gasped, "Get my mom!"

Buck sprinted after him, his jaws snapping inches from Endigo's leg.

Harli bristled. "Stupid GoldenPack."

"I'm a little busy..." Rex whimpered.

Endigo snickered and turned to run. "You know why I was teasing you about being fat?" he laughed. "Because I had this planned all along! Toodles, Fatso!"

Jargo cackled in delight. "You and I, we are so alike!"
