"That's good news, because we'll need extra to feed the newest and youngest additions to our pack: we're having pups!" Endigo said.

Jargo bit down harder. "Yeah, right!" he growled. "I'm not a female, and it looks to me like I'M the one that has you pinned!"

Buck snarled viciously, "Don't gloat for long. The situation might change." Buck smiled at Jargo, and evil glint in his eyes.

Jargo was about to make a remark when he saw something on Buck's neck. It was a dogfight tag. "You're... from the fights?" he said, amazed.

"Yup. They're due to arrive any day, now." Endigo said, smiling.

Buck was scared ans surprised. "T-that's not your business!" He snapped, his cropped ears drooped. Harli looked around ashamed too, she had been exactly where he had.
