Surviving Minnesota!

2 Rhubarb - Strawberry pies
2 Rhubarb loaves of bread
1 Mixed berry (blueberries, strawberries, rhubarb) crisp
and a very messy oven (I am glad I made the pies last)

and what do I find?

24 posts! not one or two! 24!!!! Did you even miss me? Hilarious reading.

So Ralphie - where are you. Erli, Bogtown and I posted. Besides in your truck where are you? And are you texting and driving?

I bet that's her. She had a lot if point of lay pullets, so I'm sure her ad is still up. She's between Harris and Cambridge.

Nice! Are you saving for the chickens? Or just composting? I give weeds to the bunnies, chickens, and sheep, they love them almost as much as my veggie garden. And it makes me feel better when I don't range them for the sake of the young plants.
Looking good!

Yep, that's her. I think she had some organic buff orps, too. Did you say you got some pullets from her?

I composted everything. Our bunny is a bit picky. I did toss some to the ducks and if they could give me the middle finger I'm sure they would have

Yah, I had two chicks die

They must've been girls.
I guess I'll see, I think the lavender one will go fast because they're rare. But they are cockerels. Hardly anyone wants cockerels.

How can you say no to those cute feathered legs and feet? I'm sure you'll be able to rehome them.

Well, cochins are kind of a fluffy pet breed, so it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't take long.

Haha, okay, how about 4 guineas for 2 goslings!

Here are the goslings, they are growing up so fast! If anyone is interested in buying a couple PM me, I don't have room for them all!

And here are the ducklings! I think of all baby poultry they grow the fastest!

They are adorable, but no! You'll just have to keep them all.

Sounds good. I'll be over at 5.

I am home so I can know read what I missed. I was in Duluth today. The picture was snapped in Adolph. I thought EJB might recognize it..

I was not driving Judy drove up, I drove home. So no I was not texting and driving, Ivie.

Now about these geese ,,,,,Have you tried composting them? I hear they make adequate compost and the chickens enjoy the maggots.

Some pictures from tonight.

2 doms. on the roof of there thingy...

A SS in training for lapper duty,,

A PC Rooster I think.

An MA look at the cool comb..

Another PC,

A SS doing Hawk duty.

A PC comb

3 PC' in a circle

A lighter one and a darker one. The Darker one to me is a beautiful bird.. This is the one I think BC should take, but she can have a pick,,,,As long as it is a rooster! I cannot tell on them for sure. I think the darker one is because he has legs about as thick as a 2x4.

I think this is the same class as yours MNchickmom, they might be a class behind, but I cannot tell the sex yet on them. I am guessing at them by leg diameter.
