Surviving Minnesota!

I need to be fixed up. I was thinking you could just run up to Canada, pick me up some trees and run them back here...

When you get to the border, if they happen to ask about the tree. Tell them you are taking them to BC and she paid you do bring them back...Or better yet she kidnapped your favorite chicken and would not release it until you brought her a tree...

If they say nothing just bring them to me...

I would expect Pear Pie or something for all the heat coming down from the OPP, Ralphie,

I went out--braved mosquitos and took some Blackberry pictures for our Fruit connoisseurs. Will post here once I get them off the camera.

One patch here is done, all that is left is small hard berries. The other is a few days from getting ripe. Which is weird being they are only a couple hundred yards apart.

I will slip a hacksaw into your pear pie when I send it to you at the Saskatoon Women's Correctional facility.

When weeding he landscaping rocks last night...I didn't weed this guy. I love volunteer sunflowers. It's right smack as we step off the deck....but it's all good and the chooks will be liking this guy in a few more weeks. Sadie Mae in Tennis Ball Mode.

These are on a smaller plant as I approach the bigger patch. They are growing more on DH's deer plot. They are getting more sun/heat. I'm guessing here.

These are right on the edge of the woods. Maybe a week or more....to go...?

And LOTS of green still on the big canes. Deeper in the woods here.

This old picnic table will be serving up chicken treats in a few weeks. I guarantee they'll get them before I will. (Coop in the background) Happy to see a wild grape vine coming along there too. I should try to trellis that particular plant up.
