Surviving Minnesota!

Good Morning! Thank you for joining me this morning. LOL. Clearing all that brush sounds like a plan and alot of work. Once done are you going to add that area to the weekly mowing plan? Stay cool Ralphie.

I am not sure when I would be able to mow out there. I assume I will have to wait until Judy gets all the sticks, branches and 130 years worth of junk off the ground before I can take my new cool mower there.

Good morning! Did not go beaver hunting. Decided to sleep in 1/2 hour.
Time to go find some breakfast. If we have any

Are you having a problem with Beavers? IS there an actual beaver season in ND? We are not allowed to hunt beaver except when they are a nuisance, which means all the time to me. The only good beaver is one that is on someone else's land and creek and not mine...

I don't think there's a season. We don't shoot them in the spring though. We basically let them build up the dams since our creek is either plum dry or plum full. Hence why its called plum creek

That way we still have water in our creek in dry years, and when they start getting at the younger trees we cull the herd

That makes sense, it would be a shame to have the three trees left in North Dakota cut down by a beaver....
