Raccoon was my first thought but are they too small?

raccoon size is right, but they have little human feet like tracks and not the two nasty claws in the front.


I was wondering if Possum is possible, but they should have a tail dragging track.

I have never seen a possum track that I know of. My brother says they have the tail track, he lives in possum country, He might even eat them.

I found some tracks online..

The one closest to it is mink.. BUT if that is a mink, I would hate to meet it, it would be the worlds larges mink.

I looked that up. they were rounder. And I do not think we have them here.
