I spent the day laying on my back turning wrenches under my new plow truck. got the mount on, now just need to do the wiring. Had to get a little creative and fab up some pieces but it is good and solid now! Good thing I get a new plow and it doesnt seem like we are going to get any snow ..... sigh...

Back to work tomorrow, I hope the roads are cleared up by then. Also, I hope my hen house door isn't iced shut!

it is rainy and icy here too. had to gently pad my way down to the coop for lockup. just what we needed... more ice...

I'm assuming delayed or no school tomorrow. There's no way plows will be able to get over the river by tomorrow.
We got about 6-8 inches here, my dad will go clear out road off possibly tomorrow since the county does our road last basically.

Feel bad for those of you that got ice. We've got a couple inches of new snow but we still have ice under that

Good morning! Things must have cooled off and turned our rain to sleet and snow. A crunchy slushy layer in top.

Chooks will be sad their grass spots are gone again. They were starting to come out every day and stretch their legs

Morning We did not get much snow, but the cars are driving pretty slow. A friend called and said it was icy last night. I have not had enough coffee to go out and see for myself.

It has dropped 10 degrees since I got up, and it is slippery as a larch Bolette in September!

No school, -10 feels like -44.

I had the scariest dream.. I was at the state fair showing. I didn't bring anything like Vaseline for them, they weren't bathed, I couldn't find the cages. They were skittish and wouldn't let me touch them. I woke up though so I didn't get to see myself lose...
5 months til count 6 months til state!
