I use treats as an incentive to come back to the coop. I shake whatever is in the bag and they come running - except for two of them. Hopefully they learn quickly. They just notice that no one is around and say "Hey - no one is around! Where did they go? Wait a minute . . . . What? What the H? Are those treats? Hey!"

I have whined about my knee being bad for years. I had surgery on it 8-10 years ago. I thought I needed a knee replacement.

I finally went to see the Dr who sent me to the Ortho surgeon for a knee replacement. He took a look at my knee and x-rays and said my knee looked good. He thought I had an old injury or hamstring spasm.

He sent me to a Physical therapist. In my mind I was thinking waste of time and money. He started working on my leg and knee. He gave me a couple stretches to do. To make a long story short.

He found an old injury, I am guessing 30-40 year old to the side of my calf. He started working it and found a spot that felt like a large shooter marble in size deep in my muscles of the calf. He worked it over and over and over.

It hurt like crazy at the same time it felt good. Anyways 8 weeks later, I have no knee pain. What I thought was a bad knee was actually 5 inches below the knee. It seems where we feel pain is not allows where the pain or injury it.

So what BC said makes sense. Also I have had the Plantar facitidiesousoesdertedsaous she mentioned (spelling might be in error). There is a way to tape the foot that gives it support without your foot becoming dependent on it. I happen to have some of the "blanks" the foot doctor uses to tape the foot. ( that will teach him to have a pile of them laying around when Judy has a empty purse)....... We use them once every couple years when my foot acts up.

Good luck on it all,,,
I have tendonitis in my foot, I think it is either plantar plantar fasciitis, or something really similar. I got the inserts. I've been using them for years. then they wore out and my foot doctor had died :( very sad. he had a clinic in st. cloud with a traveling clinic in Milaca. his place in st. cloud was downtown and straight out of the 60's, loved it. he made molds of your feet the old fashion way with cloth dipped in some solution, put them on your feet that was hanging over the side of the table (your are on your stomach) haven't been able to find anyone as good. but, I finally ended up at that good feet store in Maple grove. with their inserts, it took about 3 months, now i'm pain free again since last fall, long row to hoe though.

From what I have been reading it is called Vent Gleet and of course, starts with the vent. It is a digestive track issue. Needs to be alkanized. Too much acidity. Just like if humans get a yeast infection. Preparation H can help. Hey! I just remembered that. I should pick some up. It helps reduce the swelling.

I usually have to do that to get them back inside. With the snow i'd have to do that do get them out

it may or may not work.
Good one Jerry.

I've been known to make chicken paths to the septic mound with a scoop shovel.
The snow is so icy now I don't know if I could, might take all day to make a path

I don't need the exercise that bad.

Ralphie, couldn't agree more. Whenever I do CL listings, it takes enormous self control for me to not hurl the phone to the floor and scream "Could you be any more stupid if you tried??"

They will take that as a challenge and show you how stupid they can be .  :gig

Precisely why I haven't done the phone-flinging routine yet :gig

Good morning, in my NoDak time! I stayed up watching a show about crazy little 8 year olds, who have crazy coaches and parents playing football
