We currently have about 1/2 hour more daylight than the far north . Envious of the far north when the days are longer . I have cut grass until 10 PM in late June . No complaint on the cold just observing .

I'm going to start some tomatoes and peppers in the basement. And maybe bake some cookies for DH.

Good morning Chickeners . . . .   Got to go to a wedding waaaayyyyy down in Farmington this afternoon.  This cold weather has settled into my bones. The only thing that helps is hot brandy. It is difficult having to warm up with a hot brandy.

I'm not coming out of my warm blanket until spring... Brrr. This weather is for the polar bears.

On the upside, the cold snap is supposed to end Monday. e

I'm soaking the catfood in water, and I added some Raw freeze dried dog food to the mix. I think i'll run up today and get the moist type soft cat food and see if they will eat that. Picky things, drive me nuts!
