I am betting Jerry would have a hard time planting apple trees here. I tried to screw some anchors in the ground the other day, the frost is out for about an inch and a half. I had to pour boiling water in a small depression all day and night to get the anchor in. They were small anchors only about 18 inches. I have no idea how far down the frost is.
I also noticed Ann lake is ice covered again. All that work the tornado did clearing the lake of ice for e to go fishing was for naught now.

I have a bunch of birds to get rid of on Saturday. I am finding most people do not care about quality in there birds only price. I cannot hatch enough EE, but I am only charging a buck a piece if you buy 50, $1.50 smaller quantities. I offer my Doms at 5 bucks each and no one seems to want them but they pay 10 bucks a piece for them at Ramsey Feed, I doubt Ramsey feed has Duane Urch's line.
I did get rid of my 2 week old hatch of PC's. MnChickMom Jr, took all of them yesterday. I thought I had 8 but could only find 5. I looked for older ones for her, but after finding 6, I being selfish, kept for myself. I need to have a leg up on her at the Benton County Fair. I already figure she will take better care of them than I will. I might have to Tonya Harding her....
