Oh - Ralpie - OC and GC are doing exactly what they are suppose to do. Spreading their kitty smells around so the rodents stay out of whatever buildings the kitties are in. They sound healthy. Haven't seen any recent pictures of them. Is this due to disrespect on their hosts part? That could be an issue in the future. Critters can tell how you feel about them.

Opps - my yappers are knowing full well that I do not respect them, do not honor them, want them to go play in the street so I have some peace and quiet. Naughty dog mama!

Ralphie - what happened in Wilmar yesterday. You mentioned that you and MNChickMom (? - I hope I have that right) did the blood draws last Saturday. Also, you were going to ask for a delay on the one Turkey because her veins needed to heal. Did they give that to you? I hope that this is not boring to anyone else because it would be of interest to me.

I know, selfishness on my part.

Thanks Ralphie. I really hate it too. This is only the second time I have done this but I think I know whats healthy and what isnt lol. Luckily I havent had anything harder than a Welsummer with Egg Yolk ??Peritonitis?? (spelling) and the hole in crop.

I specifically asked for barn cats.  These two have decided they are too good for the barn and have moved into my shop/machine shed and are living on my couch in there. This is a breech of contract, pay up or prepare to be sued by the law firm of Dewey, Cheatum and Howe.

We have a strict no refund policy


When they left here they were barn cats! Even ask them! I think they are going through their lazy teen stage where they expect you todo everything for them!

Ralphie, as a point of reference we got no snow on the W tip of the big lake. It is my understanding that those in proximity to the S shore and points further south in Packerland did get some snow. It was cold even without the snow but it has cleared up and is warming up today.

I have a friend that goes to Waverly yearly and continues to prove the same thing time after time. " NEED AND WANT ARE NOT THE SAME THING."

Holm I'm sorry about the loss of that gorgeous cochin Momma. She looks like she was so happy to even raise up dux for you. Those hens get the biggest respect from me.

You know how I was lukewarm about Dixie the Silkie. I was like, "Why did I get her." She hatched her first set of chicks for me and took care of them. That answered my question. It took being a Mom for me to give her respect. And then of course just her feistiness living with standard birds, made me realize how special she was. I look at those broody pics and I have nothing but respect for your bird there and I know she's a big loss. So sorry Holm.
Also Ralphie my sympathy on Bert Jr. That's tough one on your special project. I hope you have a back up boy? I think I read that you did.

Destiny and Ed it sounds like I could Waiver in Waverly. Coop space due to long winters is very much a line towed around here. I've got enough chicken pushers on here taking a bat to my knees. LOL.

Speaking of which: Jerry: I will take two-maybe 3 of those lavs/ or cuckoo lav little girls. I'll let you know before you leave. I know you are running around with prednisone appointments, so what is your tentative leave for the lake date at now?
