I was going to say about Holm's Dom, looks like one I would cull....

Actually it's only fault is it is a tad young...I am hoping I don't regret giving it to holm....which would be the day he beats me in Hutch with it.

We will see how he does at Hutch. It would be nice if he did good! There is just something about this Cockerel that I absolutely love. I couldn't let him go to freezer camp!

I think his back may be a tad long but I don't think it's an issue?

Good evening all, I lost a Dominique pullet overnight too. Mine was intact, I believe it was stress related becaus3 I had to kick 4 kids out of my chicken coop on saturday night. We had a hayride on saturday and some people's unattended kids went into the off limits back yard. They were chasing my chickens, when I found the kids so locked my chickens up at 7. This morning one had died.

I figured I would post pics of one of my newest flock members. I am still thinking on a name... I will have to get pics of the other newbies too...

Well Holms, you would not issue a written report of your trip to Ralphie's. The real reason is evidenced in these photos, and it appears the trip was very worthwhile. That appears to be an outstanding representative of the breed.

It is disheartening for me to write that I am first at this late hour ? We need some interesting tidbits to read. The weather here continues to be soggy, but almost ideal for the wild rice farmers.
Looking at the photos of the Dominique which Holms has posted have me seriously considering this breed for inclusion in my projects.
