If I remember correctly splash cannot place any higher than best variety?

This would be my first actual open show. I've no idea about how colors place, but I am fairly sure that neither Birchen nor splash Marans are on the Big List of Approved Colors yet. So, there's that.

Not yet. I saw a big Coyote by there place this morning and they are starting to get some hair.
