Ralphie I was there for maybe 2 hours at most. We were tired and still had an hour and a half to get to the bar and them drive to the cousins only yo get up again this morning. I saw you as we were walking out though.
Next year I will be there all weekend and will be able to actually stop and talk. I felt bad about not being able to talk, but the drive really kicked me in the butt and I can imagine my moms too, since she drove most of the way

And to the worshipers of Saint Judy......She came down to support and be with me....Do you know what she did all day saturday??? Did she walk amongst the birds with me discussing their beauty and how great they were?? NO..

She asked me when she first got there what I was wearing to the banquet...

I looked at her and said " what I have on"...

She went completely WWD crazy at this.. Ran out the door and spent a ton of money I could have used on birds to buy me a bumnch of new clothes I did not need. She spent 5 hours in Hutch 4 of it shopping and one making sure the clothes fit and I was wearing them to the banquet....... WTH????

the pullet shown won reserve of breed, that handsome cockerel is Odysseus, he got second place among cockerels ( he needs a fuller tail) and my cock Fabio the Fabulous who lost his beautiful comb got second place ( I bet it's his ear lobes that dinged him, and 3/4 of the way thru molt)

For everyone else, hi! I'm Amber and kind of new here. I tend to stay on FB, this site kind of confuses me, but since the CLB club tends to hang here, guess I'll have to get used to it
I've got a mixed flock of about 60 chickens, 9 sheep, 6 goats, 3 LGDs, a house dog, 5 kids and a husband. Glad to be here and hoping to learn!

Wow, with all those critters to care for you must have a busy schedule ? and then you must take care of the livestock as well.
