Surviving Minnesota!

The ditches of our county road last night was nose to tail venison. Thick.

It would be interesting to see if you could grow those Jerry Up here. I think maybe closer to the lake (nearer to your brother's) would give you the lake moderation for temps. (little bit longer growing-slower to freeze) and when you're up in the fall you could try some leaf covering of the plant root base .

sounds like bear are up in numbers if you're seeing them down there? But they do like their grains. Storing carbs before a long winter's nap? Maybe this colder weather will drive them to the dens before too long.

When we had the excavator over he had to look at the coop and the chickens. People love seeing the chickens. LOL.

Call me when you need a few of the venison clear out. I will but a cattle guard on my truck and head north...:lau:lau

Here's an idea of how we ended up lol. We went down the ditch sideways and almost rolled it. We crushed the step up into the truck when it went down in the ditch at an angle. Could have easily rolled but the dirt was still wet and squishy so it just pushed up instead of stopping the truck and making us roll...

I'll take more pics when I go do chores lol
