Surviving Minnesota!

Good Morning Chickeners . . . .
Ony still lives. Simply unbelievable! I think she thinks she is a cat with nine lives. I KNOW that she does not weigh one pound. I KNOW I need my head examined. I admit it. So she sits in a wire kennel which sits in a box bottom (so there are not pine shavings all over) and that sits in a basement window. I still make sure, by forcing her, that she gets liquids but have put a feeded in the kennel. At first she could not aim correctly to get the food into her mouth - its meal worms for protein - but this morning is doing better at feeding herself.

Poor me........I can't get on my Putor...it decided to "upgrade" on its own......

2.5 hours later it is 25% done.....I hate typing and reading on my phone.....guess I will go to town and sit at old peoples coffee table...
Mine keeps bugging me to do an upgrade. I keep telling it to shove off, I need my BYC time.

Chicken update. She has been eating non-stop since I last wrote. Just a few minutes ago she caught on to the nipple water bottle. She is up and about and seems like a normal, healthy pullet. Unbelievable for me. I was about to use ether on her to put her out of her misery. She's not miserable now. Imagine that.

Hopefully, she is over what ever she had....However, I have has them do what you are describing, just to get my hopes up.....Then they dash them by dying overnight!

Fingers crossed for you!
