-27.... I can't even imagine. I'm a winter wimp. I'm currently in Missouri where it's 6....and I thought I was going to die. Heading home to Memphis as soon as I can!

Jerry, it's nice to read that you are joining us in the deep freeze, as we surely love company and don't want to hoard this special weather to ourselves.
It is only -21 here as a result of some small influence from the big lake.
It will remain below zero all day, but yesterday with -9, sunshine and no wind of consequence it seemed quite tolerable out there.
No eggs, no frozen combs and no frozen birds. Life is good.

Idk if you can see them in the pictures but we passed a flock of over 30 pheasants on my daily drive out to the farm. I only saw a rooster or two last summer and now I am seeing huge flocks! I'm glad to see their numbers are on the uprise...
