My prayers have been answered. It was +25 at 0500 this morning. I do admit with the increased relative humidity it does not feel that much better than -25 ?

Friday with that wind and moisture in the air it was not nice at all despite the warmer grade of air. I agree Ed. Got right to the bones.

It looks like our warmth will be short lived...

We are having really nice weather here. However they are calling for 6 inches of snow on Wednesday, but I would take snow over cold anyday

Cooled off here. Just 6 degrees this morning, but the weather man say high will be 30 ?
Chickens loved the weather yesterday.
This January Thaw makes one think about spring.

You farm people will love this. I was listening to the Guy I am running against trying to show how knowledgeable he is in our farm lifestyle.....

This is paraphrased:

Announcer: What is a gravity box?

Him: a trailer farmers put grain in that dumps it into a lift thingy and puts it in the silo......

Later:

Annoucer: So farmers pay no sales tax for the things they buy at Fleetfarm?

him: Nope, not a cent.





I am headed to fleetfarm today! I want my money back! They have been collecting it from me.....( Maybe be forgot the rule of thumb, unless it turns to manure you pay tax on it) and you signed the from stating it will turn to manure.....


I just got a chuckle out of that one. I am not picking on city people, there are things they do I will never understand. But please, don't pretend to be one of us when your not... It would be like me claiming to be a ranger...It ain't never gonna happen..
